Founder and Director
Marian Fletcher
Marian Fletcher is a dynamic sustainability strategist with over fourteen years of experience in policy, strategy, and communications. She is a GRI certified sustainability professional, board advisor to NGO Azraq and adjunct professor in sustainability, innovation and entrepreneurship. Prior to founding TCC, Marian worked as a strategy consultant with Monitor Deloitte and a sustainability and social impact consultant at Shared Planet. Throughout her career, she has supported international organisations to tackle issues ranging from human rights to population health, ocean conservation, deforestation and climate change. Marian is a carbon literacy trainer, LinkedIn Top Voice, Ahlan 100 most influential and verified champion for TikTok’s climate misinformation campaign. Marian studied Anthropology and Law at the London School of Economics and Political Economy at King's College London.

Pearl Samandari Massoudi specializes in driving sustainable solutions by combining her expertise in diversity and inclusion, the future of work and education, and workforce reskilling. During her tenure at the World Economic Forum, Pearl led impactful projects, coordinated high-profile events and engaged global CEOs, governments and international organizations to drive systemic change and promote inclusive growth. Her worldview has been shaped by her diverse cultures and the firm belief in the potential of organizations to create meaningful societal impact, and she is dedicated to supporting them on this journey. She holds a Master’s in Development Administration and Planning from UCL and an MA in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.

Polen Bahcebasi is an accomplished Environmental Specialist and Sustainability Advocate recognised for her expertise in environmental sciences and policy, combined with extensive experience in project management and marketing. With a Master's degree in Environment, Politics, and Society from the University College London, Polen brings a comprehensive understanding of sustainability, biodiversity conservation, energy transition, and climate change adaptation and mitigation. Her dedication to raising awareness and fostering positive change is showcased through her role as the former Lead Editor at Illuminem, where she organised events, curated content, and developed specialised newsletters on sustainability, climate change, and the private sector's role in environmental change.

Hannah Paulson is a skilled natural resources specialist and science communicator, bringing a unique blend of expertise in environmental science, policy, and climate adaptation. Her work spans both public and private sectors, with a focus on creating practical, science-driven solutions for complex environmental challenges. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a Master's in Environment and Sustainability, Hannah applies her academic foundation to advance ecosystem conservation, policy innovation, and community resilience. Her hands-on experience includes leading communities of practice, facilitating learning networks, and equipping coastal professionals with tools to address climate risks. Hannah’s dedication to community-centered solutions is reflected in her work with state and federal agencies, where she spearheaded initiatives to support coastal climate adaptation across the U.S. Beyond her leadership roles, she is a prolific researcher and writer, contributing extensively to fields such as climate modeling, water resource management, and sustainability.
